Festival Classique strives to get as many people as possible acquainted with classical music. To include those with a handicap, the festival location is easily accessible and we have tested several sites on wheelchair friendliness. Toilets for disabled are available.
Naturally, guide dogs are welcome during our shows. Please let us know if you plan to bring a guide dog, so we can inform our staff accordingly.
Unfortunately, there is no tele-loop during our shows. Let us know if you are hearing-impaired, so we can reserve the right seats for you. During the festival there is plenty of staff available to guide you or help you with any questions. They can be recognized by their Festival Classique shirts or hoodies.
Accessibility Carmina Burana
Because the performance of Carmina Burana takes place on the beach, this concert is unfortunately not very accessible for wheel chair and zimmer frame users. On this outside location we use seats that are less comfortable then the ones used during concerts on our inside locations. Contact Festival Classique timely for more information regarding the booking of a wheel chair and companion ticket on +31 70 38 34 230
Spaces for wheel chairs and the disabled
At every performance, we pay extra attention to the accessibility for guests with a handicap. The Carmina Burana show is unfortunately not very accessible for wheel chair users – part of the route to the site is through the sand. If you are disabled and keen to use well accessible seats for this or any other show, please contact the festival organization timely on +31 (0)70 38 34 230. Every show has a limited amount of spaces available.
Elaborate programme information
The performances of Festival Classique are especially designed to invigorate all the senses. Our concerts are full of surprises, sometimes we use visual effects and/or smoke. If you are unsure whether one of our shows is suitable for you or your party (for example because of epilepsy), please contact us for more elaborated programme information.
