Since 2006, Festival Classique has been committed to show classical music is an enrichment to everyone. The festival offers a unique programme with a range of classical music to appeal to as many people as possible. We have a think-outside-the-box mentality and surprise with classical music, without compromising the quality. That is why our concert programmes and locations are often different and set up with a great eye for detail. We don’t just organise concerts, we offer a complete experience. Festival Classique loves to surprise visitors with the combination of different artforms like dance, theatre and film and classical music.
In 2017, the festival attracted over 42.000 visitors. With our eclectic programme we reach all age groups, both young and old. On offer are a wide range of free and paid performances, concerts and activities. Al fresco or inside at exceptional locations, we surprise the audience and encourage them to experience music in a different way. Festival Classique offers a platform for professional musicians, music students and amateurs in the The Hague region – a very inspiring combination!
Every year, Festival Classique invites The Hague primary and secondary schools to enjoy the festival with especially designed performances. Festival Classique also works closely together with several care and welfare organisations to include people that otherwise would not or hardly be in touch with the live performance of classical music.
Festival Classique is ready to put its feet in the sand and start its twelfth edition. From June 7 to June 18 2018 we pull out all stops for a musical party that is bound to impress.
