How can I buy tickets?
You can buy tickets for the festival online via www.festivalclassique.nl. During the festival you can buy tickets at the festival box office for performances that are not sold out.
How does the online ticket sale work?
You buy tickets by selecting the performance of your choice in the programme and then click on 'Bestel kaarten' (Order tickets). After filling in your personal details and the number of tickets you pay with iDEAL. Subsequently you will receive a confirmation mail including an e-ticket via the mail address indicated. The e-ticket is the admission ticket for the performance. Save the e-ticket on your mobile or print the e-ticket and bring the printed e-ticket with you to the performance. The barcode of the e-ticket will be scanned at the entrance. In all cases the unique barcode can only be used once, so copying of e-tickets is useless. Keep the code scannable: avoid creases, dirt and moisture.

Where is the Festival box office located?
During the festival you can buy tickets at the festival box office at Gevers Deynootplein for performances that are not yet sold out. Please note: purchase of tickets is only possible with PIN payment. You can also go there with all your questions. The festival box office is open on:

Until when can I buy tickets?
You can buy tickets online until one hour before the start of the performance (if available). Tickets for dinner packages are available until 48 hours before the start of the performance.
Is there an advance sale?
Yes, especially for our newsletter readers there is an advance sale. Last year many performances were sold out. So register therefore immediately for our newsletter to avoid this.
Can I also show my e-ticket on my mobile telephone or tablet?
Yes that’s possible. We can also scan from your mobile phone or tablet.
Can I return or exchange tickets?
Once you have bought tickets they cannot be exchanged for another performance. Money is not refunded. However, it is possible to give your tickets to someone else. TIP: conclude a cancellation arrangement (Ticket Guarantee) via Your Ticket Provider when you purchase your ticket. Ticket Guarantee offers the possibility to cancel purchased tickets and to receive the purchase amount back, as mentioned in the conditions.
I have not received any e-tickets. What to do now?
If you have not received a confirmation mail, it may be that the email was blocked by the spam filter. Check first whether the email is in the spam folder. If not, then you can simply retrieve the ticket via https://www.yourticketprovider.nl/ticketopvragen.
Are there also (free) activities for which I do not need tickets?
Yes indeed! Many performances, concerts and activities can be attended for free. You do not need an e-ticket for this.
Is there an interval during the performance?
There is no interval during the performances. When a performance has started, you can enter provided that you do not disturb the fellow visitors. For instance during applause after a part of the programme. This is done in consultation with the festival employees who are present on the spot.
Is the festival accesible for the disabled?
A number of performances take place at the beach, this is clearly indicated with the performance in question. If you have difficulty walking or use a wheelchair or rollator we will be pleased to assist you. Send a mail to firstname.lastname@example.org for more information and/or to book a wheelchair place.
Do I get a refund when the programme changes?
It may happen that a programme is changed. In that case Festival Classique does it utmost to offer an equivalent alternative. A change of the programme does not entitle to a refund.
Can I make recordings?
It is not allowed to make image or audio recordings with professional equipment without the explicit prior permission of Festival Classique.
